In 2001 the principals of Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. recognized the opportunity and
need for civil engineering services focusing on Nebraska communities, developers, and government agencies.

With modest beginnings Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. has developed into a one stop civil engineering company
serving counties, cities, natural resource districts, the State of Nebraska, and developers.

 
 

Mark Mainelli, P.E.
President

Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1986 from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.  In 1987 Mark began working for the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR) as a Construction Project Manager.  While at the NDOR Mark rose to a position responsible for the off system Federal Aid Bridge Preliminary Design Section.  In 1992 Mark left the NDOR for a position at another consulting firm.  Since 1979, when Mark began his career, he has been responsible for all phases of a project from project development to the completion of construction.

Jeff Wagner, P.E.
Vice president

Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1988 from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and began his graduate work shortly thereafter.  In 1990 Jeff began his engineering career in the Bridge Division of the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR).  While at the NDOR Jeff worked in both the Bridge Hydraulics and Bridge Design Sections.  In 1993 Jeff completed his graduate work earning his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  In 1994 Jeff left the NDOR as a Bridge Division Squad Leader for a position at another consulting firm where he began working with Mark.  Since the inception of Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Jeff has been in charge of day-to-day operations including; scheduling, oversight of Preliminary Engineering activities, and providing office support for Construction Engineering activities.
